A Day in the Life of a Home Dog Boarder

Wake Up

Approx 7am, the day begins calmly, with plenty of stretches, yawns, as each furry guest is gently greeted.

After the morning toilet break, breakfast is served.

Each dog will be fed in their own, individual, designated room. This is best practice to prevent breakfast envy, food guarding disputes or distractions.

After breakfast, the dogs are offered another leisurely garden sniff.

All dogs are then encouraged to rest up and allow their breakfast to go down before the morning adventure!

New dogs are Welcomed from 8am to 9.30am

Mid Morning

Approx 10am we sart our exploration of one of our local woodlands or coastal walks. All doggos will have collars on, harnesses and coats if worn, leads attached! Each dog will be allocated their walker, who will be responsible for their well-being throughout the walk.

Our morning walks can last from 45min to 1.5hrs or more, depending on the fitness of the dog. Our walks are classed as 'sniffari' walks, where dogs can exercise their brains as well as their bodies. Any dogs who like ball play will be provided with this. Plenty of fresh air, exercise, and mental stimulation in safe, natural surroundings.

Back at home, dogs are offered snuffle time. This is usually a small amount of their dry food in a snuffle mat or dispensing toy. For raw fed or wet only dogs we can discuss what treats your dog can have.

After all that good stuff its time to enjoy a period of rest and relaxation, with cosy spaces available for naps and downtime.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we offer enrichment play, gentle garden time, lots and lots of cuddles. Tell us about your dogs talents and we can practice their training and/or tricks!

Approx 4:30pm we feed all the dogs in their allocated rooms, followed by toilet time in the garden.

Doggie Changeover is from 5pm to 6.30pm

Evening

After the Doggie Changeover is completed, we take all the dogs for a short walk, lasting about 20-30mins.

Evening routines mirror a home environment, with relaxtion quiet time, more cuddles, and settling down for the night in a comfortable, secure home space.

Approx 10-11pm all dogs will be offered a short spell in the garden before being settled down for the night.

Each dog will be comfy in their own bed from home or if they prefer our sofa or one of our beds, that's fine with us. We have plenty of space for every dog to find their special sleepy place.

Sleep, eat, walkies, play, repeat!!!
